6.3 - Abrasive Blast Cleaning Standards/Guides

Objective: To understand that various abrasive (A substance used for removal of matter by scratching or grinding.) blast cleaning standards/Guides exist in the coatings (Paint - substance used for protection of surfaces ie steel (Strong malleable low carbon iron alloy) from corrosion.) industry. Also to understand that abrasive (A substance used for removal of matter by scratching or grinding.) blast cleaning standards differ depending upon the initial condition of the steel (Strong malleable low carbon iron alloy).
