Lucy Pavia was delighted to receive a surprise visit from the team at Austin Hayes Ltd consisting of Tonia Parris, Steve Graves and Nick Eagleton.
Austin Hayes is active across many sectors including Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Renewables and Global defence. They pride themselves on the quality of work provided by their in-house blasting, thermal metal spraying and painting services that meet the exacting standards of the industry they serve.
Austin Hayes and Corrodere have always had a strong relationship and the purpose of the visit epitomises this. Tonia, Steve and Nick proceeded to express that the benefit of becoming a Train the Painter affiliate had extended further than just training. Staff retention is difficult to achieve in an industry that can see a higher turnover in personnel. However, Austin Hayes’ dedication to developing their current employees through Train the Painter has led to excellent staff retention from sprayers and blasters that have continually provided excellent quality over the years.
They have been a member of the scheme for a number of years and recognise the value of the training delivered to their business. The prequalification to NORSOK M501 of applicators has always been important but with new a new module for thermal metal spraying, Train the Painter allows for continued professional development of the workforce.
Steve Graves commented, “I’d like to thank the Train the Painter team, The positive changes in our team since coming on board with TTP have made a vast and positive difference to team Austin Hayes”.
We would like to thank Austin Hayes for their visit and for allowing us to help them in their commitment to providing excellent training for their staff.
