Corrosion Management
Course overview
Corrosion Management is an essential skill that is employed after the Corrosion Engineer phase of designing and erecting, to prolong the life of an asset or structure.
You will learn how to Pre-Empt, Mitigate, Control, and Treat corrosion whereby you can provide your services to save asset owners on huge maintenance losses!
The Corrosion Management Specialist will be able to ensure increased production, increased operation output, and reduce unplanned shutdowns.
The consistently rising demand for people trained in Corrosion Management has lead to requirements for not just flexible online training, but to condense learning with a class lead by the course author, Ali Morshed.

Author information
Ali Morshed PhD, MSc, DIC, CEng
Ali Morshed is an international expert and authority in the areas of Corrosion Management implementation, training and writing. He has been providing corrosion management training for the hydrocarbon industry since 2005 and taught the same topic to post-graduate students in Robert Gordon University in UK.
Ali worked on numerous asset integrity management, corrosion engineering and corrosion management projects both with engineering and operating companies in the UK’s North Sea, North Africa, Middle East and South Asia with companies such as: Aramco, BG, BP, Cairn Energy, Chevron, Dana, IOOC, NIGC, POGC, Talisman and Total.
To share his wide knowledge of the subject, he authored the NACE international bestselling book ‘An Introduction to Asset Corrosion Management in the Oil and Gas Industry’ (2012),(2nd edition 2016). Due to the growing demand for the corrosion management expertise in both the hydrocarbon and the non-hydrocarbon industries, Ali has also authored two more books on this subject for such industries in July 2017 and the latter May 2018.
