Renewal Guidelines & Expiry Policy:
It is the responsibility of the qualification holder to ensure their certification remains valid and up to date. Corrodere Academy will make efforts to remind students where possible; however, it is ultimately up to each individual to adhere to the renewal requirements set by the accrediting body.
- Certificates must be renewed in advance of the certificate expiry date
- Certificates which have expired beyond 6 months – students must retake the full examinations to regain certification
- Certificates which have expired beyond 9 months – students must also retake the full course programme as well as the examination to regain certification
To avoid any disruptions to your certification status, we strongly recommend planning your renewal three months in advance.

Payment: Along with the renewal application, you will be required to make a payment. We offer multiple convenient payment options, including credit/debit card and bank transfer. When completing the online application form, you will have the opportunity to make the payment directly. Alternatively, if you prefer, our dedicated accounts team can assist you by issuing an invoice for the renewal fee of £275 – £350 + 20% VAT if applicable. Course Review: We recommend reviewing the course material to refresh your knowledge. We will provide you with 1-month access. Existing Corrodere Academy students can access the material using their login credentials.
Renewal Exam: The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions conducted online. A passing score is 70% or higher.
Confirmation and Updated Certificate: Upon passing the exam, please follow instructions from our administration team. The issuance process typically takes up to 10 weeks, as the certification body reviews and verifies the renewal details and issues the updated certificate.
