ICorr Coating Inspector – Level 1

Course overview

The first step of your journey to becoming a Coating Inspector starts here! To embark on a new career as a paint inspector you will need to achieve this ICorr Level 1 Coating Inspector certificate as a minimum requirement. This course is easily achievable by studying online for 40 hours before attending the final assessment at one of our classrooms or online, the choice is yours. We design our paint inspection courses to be flexible and adaptable ensuring that each and every course delivered meets the demands and requirements of each of our students.

*Please note that a practical coating inspection equipment workshop is also available

ICorr level 1 coating inspectors are qualified to:

  • Set up and calibrate specific inspection or test equipment;
  • Carry out tests and perform inspections against written criteria;
  • Record and classify the results of tests and inspections against written criteria;
  • Report the results.
