Akzo Nobel through International Paints Ltd has extended its strategic training alliance with Corrodere. They will be offering the SSPC Train the painter training and the SSPC C6, C7 & C12 certification schemes globally. They have a team of accredited trainers located in all business regions who will provide both the classroom and workshop training. Akzo have recently opened a dedicated training centre in Dubai UAE and the agreement means the expansion of training in both the Middle and Far East. This is a particularly important development due to International Paints involvement in passive fire protection coatings for both cellulosic and hydrocarbon fires and the need to offer training in this important discipline.

David Eyre, project manager recently visited the new Dubai training facility and said ‘I was immensely impressed with the quality of the facility for both theoretical and practical training and the application equipment available was some the best that I have seen at any training facility’

Craig White who manages the facility commented ‘The facility demonstrates the commitment we have to delivering world class training to our clients in the right environment with the latest application technology’
