Corrodere Academy Achieves CITB Approved Training Organisation Status
Corrodere Academy is proud to announce that it has officially become an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). This recognition is testament to our commitment to providing high-quality training for professionals in the coating and corrosion industries.
What is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO)?
A CITB ATO is an organisation that delivers construction training courses and qualifications that meet industry-approved standards. To achieve this status, an organisation must successfully complete CITB’s approval process, ensuring that its training meets the highest levels of quality and relevance.
ATOs can include a variety of training providers, such as:
- Commercial training providers
- In-house training departments within construction companies
- Educational establishments
By meeting CITB’s standards, Corrodere Academy is now recognised as a trusted training provider within the UK construction sector.
What This Means for Corrodere Academy Students
For those looking to advance their careers in the protective coating industry, this accreditation assures that Corrodere Academy’s courses meet rigorous industry standards. Students and employers alike can be confident in the quality and relevance of the training provided.
“Becoming a CITB Approved Training Organisation is a great achievement for Corrodere Academy. This recognition reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality training and ensuring our students receive the best industry-standard education. CITB Funding for Levy-Paying Companies
Corrodere Academy’s courses are eligible for funding through CITB for levy-paying companies. This means that businesses contributing to the CITB levy can access financial support to cover the costs of employee training. By taking advantage of this funding, companies can invest in upskilling their workforce with minimal financial burden while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Employer Network Funding
The Employer Network is an alternative CITB initiative that allows companies to access funding with minimal financial burden. CITB funds 70% of the training cost directly to the provider, while the employer covers the remaining 30%. Training providers send joining instructions and certificates directly to the employer, ensuring a seamless process. Companies can sign up by agreeing to the funding split and submitting the required financial details.
