Ethics module now available
We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new online Ethics Module, designed to promote and reinforce the highest standards of professional conduct across the industrial coatings industry.
Available now as an optional module across all Corrodere Academy Inspection and Specialist Courses, this concise online course explores the principles of ethical behaviour in coatings inspection and project environments. It helps professionals understand the importance of integrity, accountability, and trust in their everyday roles.
At Corrodere Academy, we recognise that the success and reputation of our industry depend not only on technical knowledge, but also on professional conduct. This new module has been developed to address the real-world ethical challenges faced by inspectors, coating applicators, and project specialists — ensuring that all learners are equipped to make responsible, informed decisions in their work.
The course covers key topics such as professional responsibility, conflict of interest, confidentiality, and the role of ethics in maintaining safety and quality standards throughout a coatings project. Learners are encouraged to reflect on how everyday choices can impact clients, colleagues, and the wider reputation of the industry.
The Online Ethics Course is free of charge for all Corrodere Academy students and can be accessed directly through the online training platform. Upon successful completion, participants receive an official Certificate of Completion, demonstrating their commitment.
