SSPC Trainthepainter switch to 5 year cards
To bring SSPC Trainthepainter cards in line with other industry cards all new cards issued after the 1st March 2017 will be valid for 5 years before renewal.
The decision was made due to agreements with various accreditation bodies and the CSCS.
The new cards will also incorporate smart technology via a QR code for added levels of security. The cards can be read by any QR readers including apps on mobile devices. The details of the card holder will then be displayed including qualifications and validity.
